SUMMARY:Student Achievement Day
DESCRIPTION:Student Achievement Day (STAD) is sponsored by the Fort Collins Music Teachers Association (FCMTA)\, in conjunction with the Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA). Each student is expected to perform two pieces (one memorized) as well as between two and 5 additional options from the list (including activities such as participation in various educational games\, additional testing\, additional technique exercises\, etc. Students will receive a state certificate\, and also encouraging and constructive comments upon the completion of their performance. The listeners for the event are piano teachers from Fort Collins and the surrounding areas. This is a noncompetitive event. The cost of the event is $20 per student. The registration deadline is 2/5/2025. \nParents and Students: read the Info for Parents and Students Document and discuss registration with your teacher.
