SUMMARY:Fall Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Fall Festival is an annual event put on by FCMTA. It is a formal event where students perform two contrasting pieces for a panel of judges who provide them with feedback on their performance. After all the performers have played\, the judges will select deserving students to perform in the evening “Honors Recital.”  All the performers are encouraged to attend. After the performance\, awards will be given to all participants. \nStudents\, if you would like to participate in this event\, discuss with your teacher. Teachers\, you are encouraged to register as many students as you would like. While it is open to students of all ages and skill levels\, they should be adequately prepared for this formal event and able to meet the memorization\, and thematic requirements of the event. You can find the registration link in the member portal. \n\nCost: $30\nTheme: “Music and Stories from Around the World”\nSchedule:\n\nIndividual performances will take place all day\nHonors Recital will take place at 7:00PM in Runyan Hall\, which is in the University Center for the Arts on the CSU campus

DESCRIPTION:General Meeting: 9:00 \nMusicale: 10:00 – Teachers/members\, please prepare music if you would like to share and perform. This is a casual performance setting and welcoming of all styles of music. \nNotes: The general meeting is designed for professional development\, discussion of upcoming events\, delegation of tasks\, organizational reports\, spreading of news from the state and national level\, as well as general camaraderie between local teachers of all kinds. All FCMTA members are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting and program. There will be a recording for those that are unable to attend. Collegiate chapter members of MTNA are encouraged. Prospective members are always welcome to come introduce themselves\, ask questions\, and get a feel for what the organization is about.
