SUMMARY:Honors Recital
DESCRIPTION:FCMTA Honors Recital info:\nStudents\, if you would like to participate in this recital\, discuss with your teacher.  Teachers\, you may select  two exemplary students of their choice for the honor of performing in this recital.  Memorization is required. You are encouraged to sign up students you would like you showcase regardless of age\, skill level\, or genre of repertoire. Due to the cost of facilities\, there is a $5 fee per student and there need to be a minimum of 10 students for the recital to take place. You can find the registration link in the member portal. While the venue is the same\, this recital is intended to be a more formal event. Please dress accordingly. \n\n\nMemorization is encouraged\, but not required. DESCRIPTION:General Meeting: 9:00 \nMusicale: 10:00 – Teachers/members\, please prepare music if you would like to share and perform. This is a casual performance setting and welcoming of all styles of music. \nNotes: The general meeting is designed for professional development\, discussion of upcoming events\, delegation of tasks\, organizational reports\, spreading of news from the state and national level\, as well as general camaraderie between local teachers of all kinds. All FCMTA members are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting and program. There will be a recording for those that are unable to attend. Collegiate chapter members of MTNA are encouraged. Prospective members are always welcome to come introduce themselves\, ask questions\, and get a feel for what the organization is about.
