SUMMARY:November Student Recital
DESCRIPTION:FCMTA Student Recital info:\nStudents\, if you would like to participate in this recital\, discuss with your teacher. Teachers\, you are encouraged to sign up students regardless of age\, skill level\, or genre of repertoire. Due to the cost of facilities\, there is a $5 fee per student and there need to be a minimum of 10 students for the recital to take place. Teachers\, you may submit as many students as you would like. You can find the registration link in the member portal. While this is a relatively low-stakes performance opportunity\, please ask students to dress appropriately for a church-venue recital. Some of the older students are taking it very seriously and it lessens their experience when certain standards are not kept. \n\n\nMemorization is encouraged\, but not required. DESCRIPTION:The recital will take place in the home of Bryan and Phyllis Nakagawa\, 7045 Aladar Drive\, Windsor\, CO 80550.\n\nFCMTA Adult Recital Info\nAll adult music students who are 21 years and older are welcome to share prepared music with other adult musicians.  Teachers\, you are encouraged to sign up students regardless of skill level\, or genre of repertoire. Memorization is NOT required. You can find the registration link in the member portal. Everyone is welcome to bring a guest as well as something to share at the reception: either a favorite beverage\, appetizer\, or dessert. The first hour is reserved for performing\, and the second hour is spent socializing and enjoying the company of everyone in attendance.

DESCRIPTION:General Meeting: 9:00 \nProgram: 10:00 – Drs. Theresa Bogard and Helber Rebeiro\nPiano Duo Lecture recital \n            \nNotes: The general meeting and program are designed for professional development\, discussion of upcoming events\, delegation of tasks\, organizational reports\, spreading of news from the state and national level\, as well as general camaraderie between local teachers of all kinds. All FCMTA members are encouraged to attend the monthly meeting and program. There will be a recording for those that are unable to attend. Collegiate chapter members of MTNA are encouraged. Prospective members are always welcome to come introduce themselves\, ask questions\, and get a feel for what the organization is about.

SUMMARY:Fall Festival
DESCRIPTION:The Fall Festival is an annual event put on by FCMTA. It is a formal event where students perform two contrasting pieces for a panel of judges who provide them with feedback on their performance. After all the performers have played\, the judges will select deserving students to perform in the evening “Honors Recital.”  All the performers are encouraged to attend. After the performance\, awards will be given to all participants. \nStudents\, if you would like to participate in this event\, discuss with your teacher. Teachers\, you are encouraged to register as many students as you would like. While it is open to students of all ages and skill levels\, they should be adequately prepared for this formal event and able to meet the memorization\, and thematic requirements of the event. You can find the registration link in the member portal. \n\nCost: $30\nTheme: “Dance Music”\nSchedule:\n\nIndividual performances will take place all day\nHonors Recital will take place at 7:00PM in Runyan Hall\, which is in the University Center for the Arts on the CSU campus
