Don Hahn Scholarship Fund
Don Hahn passed away in the Summer of 2025. He was a beloved member of the Fort Collins music community including FCMTA for many years. In his memory, FCMTA created a scholarship fund to be awarded to a music student in the Fort Collins area. Anyone can donate to this scholarship fund and FCMTA will match the first $250. In the spirit of Don, this money is intended for lesson costs, registration fees, instrument upgrade/repair, or something like it. Students who would like to be considered must complete this application in full by April 1, 2026. The scholarship award will be announced at the FCMTA Pop/Jazz recital on April 17th at 7:00 PM (Trinity Lutheran Church 301 E Stuart, Fort Collins, CO).

FCMTA is dedicated to enhancing the quality of music education and promoting musical culture in our communities. We provide opportunities for development and growth to our members and their students.
Student Activities for All
FCMTA, as well as our umbrella organizations: Colorado State Music Teachers Association (CSMTA) and Music Teachers National Association (MTNA) offer student programs for all levels and ages. FCMTA programs include: Student Achievement Day, adult recitals, formal recitals, ensemble recitals, holiday recitals, and Halloween Musical Parties in different community locations in Fort Collins.
